After having a combined position as a research scientist and managing coordinator at HU Berlin, I decided to focus entirely on science coordination and management. I have always enjoyed working in international and interdisciplinary teams, and becoming the new EU-ITN PEP-NET manager gives me the opportunity to work with a network that unites 16 European laboratories and companies to train 15 PhD students in experimental epigenetics and mathematical modeling.
In addition to EU/EC reporting, organization of the PEP-NET training events, I am also involved in science outreach activities together with the PEP-NET PhD students.
When I am not working or traveling you can very often find me at my favorites places in Berlin, Hamburger Bahnhof Museum, Berlinische Galerie or Gropius Bau, discovering new artists.
